I post anything that catches my interest, from sci-fi to fantasy, science to art. Definitely not mostly filled with Marvel. Nope.
Here’s a thing I’ve had around in my head for a while!
Okay, so I’m pretty sure that by now everyone at least is aware of Steampunk, with it’s completely awesome Victorian sci-fi aesthetic. But what I want to see is Solarpunk – a plausible near-future sci-fi genre, which I like to imagine as based on updated Art Nouveau, Victorian, and Edwardian aesthetics, combined with a green and renewable energy movement to create a world in which children grow up being taught about building electronic tech as well as food gardening and other skills, and people have come back around to appreciating artisans and craftspeople, from stonemasons and smithies, to dress makers and jewelers, and everyone in between. A balance of sustainable energy-powered tech, environmental cities, and wicked cool aesthetics.
A lot of people seem to share a vision of futuristic tech and architecture that looks a lot like an ipod – smooth and geometrical and white. Which imo is a little boring and sterile, which is why I picked out an Art Nouveau aesthetic for this.
With energy costs at a low, I like to imagine people being more inclined to focus their expendable income on the arts!
Aesthetically my vision of solarpunk is very similar to steampunk, but with electronic technology, and an Art Nouveau veneer.
So here are some buzz words~
Tailors and dressmakers!
Stained glass window solar panels!!!
Education in tech and food growing!
Less corporate capitalism, and more small businesses!
Solar rooftops and roadways!
Communal greenhouses on top of apartments!
Electric cars with old-fashioned looks!
No-cars-allowed walkways lined with independent shops!
Renewable energy-powered Art Nouveau-styled tech life!
Can you imagine how pretty it would be to have stained glass windows everywhere that are actually solar panels? The tech is already headed in that direction! Or how about wide-brim hats, or parasols that are topped with discreet solar panel tech incorporated into the design, with ports you can stick your phone charger in to?

I want a solarpunk future. *_*

Hello I have posters relevant to your interests!
There is a Walking Dead one, and some Avengers, and a few Star Trek!
Mug cakes haven’t worked out great for me in the past, but I’m still very tempted to give some of these a try…
I’m having a mega huge sale in my shop right now, lowest prices in a year!
I need to clear out some older styles for the upcoming year to make room for new styles!
On top of everything, I’m having to put in for the last bit if necessary funds for my Lotr/Hobbit tour and I have less than one month to secure everything in place.
Which means I don’t need next years sales as much as I need this years sales.
If there’s anything you’ve been eyeing, this is the time to snag it!
I’m even offering to throw in a free gift with all orders over 25$! (I have some very neat necklaces and bracelets that I know you guys will love just waiting to be thrown in!)
I’ve also extended my custom order deadline for bracers to October 30th! That means you have an extra month to get your bracers ordered before I leave.
I will also be making Kili and Gamora bracers available in my shop this week.
Please convo me if you want to get on pre-order list.
If you can manage it, please reblog, I’m really desperate right now and need the help. On the plus side, you guys get some cool leather work to show off your favorite fandoms with!
As I’m reaching out to you guys, I would like to thank any and everyone who has ever ordered from me on the 18 months
Without you all helping me, I wouldn’t even be this close to my dream.

Hey guys! So as I’ve been posting, I’m doing my first ever non-US con this year and tabling at Thought Bubble in Leeds! As summer winds down and November, and my trip, looms nearer, I am getting more and more anxious about it, so I’m offering some limited edition shirts to help cover some of the expenses of the trip. Here’s the info I wrote for the campaign:
I’ve been tabling at cons for over 15 years now, but only within the states. Over the last few years, I’ve gained a following overseas, and have had lots of requests to do a European con, and this year I finally have a shot, but travel that far just ain’t cheap! It’s been a dream of mine to return to Europe for years now. As a military brat, I lived in Germany as a kid and was lucky enough to visit a number of countries, but was too young to appreciate it. Now I have a chance to go back so I can table at Thought Bubble in Leeds, one of the coolest independent comic cons anywhere. My table is secured, my flight is booked, and now I’m broke. By getting a shirt, you’re helping me with other incidental costs, such as hotel, travel/train fare, food, and actually getting product to sell at the con. In the long run, I’ll ideally create a sketchbook or mini comic based on the trip, which I’ll be posting online in 2015, and the help I get through this campaign will go a long way in making that happen. This particular design will never be available on any other merchandise from me EVER, so once these shirts are done, they’re done for good, so you’ll get something something super unique in return for helping me make this happen.I have shirts on two different sites because I wanted to offer an alternate color option because I am indecisive, ugh. I have to sell 25 of the green option, and 50 of the pink option in order to get the funds from the campaigns, so please help signal boost if you can! (Don’t worry, if I don’t sell enough shirts to meet the minimum, you won’t be charged at all).
